Chaos erupted at Elizabeth House in Devizes on December 3 after a man was seriously stabbed. Emergency services quickly responded and rushed the victim to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Wiltshire Police swiftly arrested 74-year-old Stephen West from Elizabeth House. He now faces attempted murder charges and has been remanded in custody ahead of his trial at Salisbury Crown Court on January 7, 2026.
