Two men were stabbed in London in separate attacks on January 14, prompting police to seek witnesses and information from the public.
An 18-year-old man was stabbed on Blackstock Road near Ambler Road in Finsbury Park at around 2:30pm. Emergency services responded quickly, and the victim was taken to hospital. His injuries are reported as non-life-threatening, and he remains in a stable condition.
The Metropolitan Police have urged anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to contact them. Witnesses can call 101 or send a message to @MetCC on X (formerly Twitter) referencing CAD 3274/14JAN.
Just hours later, at 5:46pm, a 20-year-old man was stabbed on High Road in Ilford. Paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to hospital. His injuries are also non-life-threatening and non-life-changing, and he is currently stable.
Police have not made any arrests in connection with the Ilford stabbing and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference 5396/14JAN.
The Metropolitan Police have stated that the two attacks are not believed to be connected, but investigations remain ongoing. Authorities emphasize the importance of community involvement in addressing London’s continuing knife crime issues.
