Detectives have made a second arrest in connection with a large fire that tore through a property on Guildhall Street, Canterbury.
Kent Police were called to the scene on Monday, December 2, at around 8:45pm after reports of a significant fire. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service worked to extinguish the flames while police closed roads and evacuated nearby residents to ensure public safety.
On Wednesday, December 4, a 15-year-old boy from Ashford was arrested in relation to the fire. He joins another 15-year-old boy who was detained the previous day. Both teenagers remain in police custody as detectives continue their investigation.
Police have thanked members of the public who have already provided information and are urging anyone with further details to come forward.
