Trump Drops Bombshell: US to Run Venezuela Until Regime Change
Donald Trump has shocked the world by announcing that the US will effectively take control of Venezuela until a “safe and proper” political transition occurs. He revealed plans to send America’s biggest oil giants into the country to rebuild its shattered oil industry.
Trump said: “We’re going to have our very large United States oil companies, the biggest anywhere in the world, go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure, the oil infrastructure, and start making money for the country.”
‘An Attack Like World War Two’: Trump Brags About Devastating Caracas Strike
Speaking from Mar-a-Lago, Trump gave fresh details on the recent US military assault on Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. He described a multi-branch attack by air, land, and sea forces “the likes of which people have not seen since World War Two.”
Trump bragged about plunging “the lights of Caracas” into darkness, calling the operation “dark and deadly.”
He boasted: “If you would have seen what I saw last night, you would have been very impressed. Not a single American service member was killed and not a single piece of American equipment was lost.”
Ready for Round Two: Trump Threatens Bigger Follow-Up Strike
The former president didn’t rule out hitting Venezuela again. While saying the initial strike was so devastating a second might be unnecessary, Trump made it clear the military is ready for “a second and much larger attack if we need to do so.”
Trump warned: “But we’re prepared to do a second wave, a much bigger wave, actually.”
Mission Clear: Topple Maduro with Force
Trump confirmed the military operation’s goal was to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. The target was “a heavily fortified military fortress in the heart of Caracas,” signalling a bold display of US power.
Trump declared: “This was one of the most stunning, effective and powerful displays of American military might and competence in American history.”
