Three people have died and another is fighting for life after a horrific crash on the M25 near Waltham Abbey last night.
The collision involved a Ford Mondeo, a minibus, and a lorry. Essex Police confirmed the incident occurred at around 6:15pm BST between junctions 26 and 27, close to the M11 interchange.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with the East of England Ambulance Service treating several casualties, including at least one person in critical condition.
The M25 motorway is currently shut anti-clockwise from junction 27 to junction 26 while crews work at the scene. Officers have warned that the motorway will remain closed for several hours, causing significant traffic delays and adding to rush hour congestion in the area.
