Police are investigating a shocking assault on a 15-year-old boy in Swindon’s Corporation Street. The incident occurred near the junction with Lagos Street, outside Baraka Groceries, at around 4.20pm on December 24.
The teenager had accidentally fallen off a kerb and lightly touched a parked silver car when a man suddenly jumped out and punched him in the face before fleeing the scene.
The brutal attack caused the boy to lose several teeth and left him with cuts to his mouth.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or was nearby with dash cam footage to come forward. Witnesses can call 101 quoting crime reference number 54220134661 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
