A 15-year-old girl was assaulted around 3pm on Saturday, June 4, while walking north along Arundel Road near the recreation ground in Angmering.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s with stubby or shaved hair. He approached and attacked the teenager. At the time, he was wearing a green t-shirt and blue jeans.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the assault or noticed a suspicious man near the nearby churchyard around the time of the incident.
