Detectives are seeking witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times in Ilford in the early hours of Sunday, 4 December.
Police responded to reports of a violent street fight on Ilford Lane, near St Luke’s Avenue and Wingate Road, at around 2am. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to hospital. His current condition has not been disclosed.
The area has been sealed off by officers while forensic teams conduct a thorough investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage as inquiries remain ongoing.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward. Witnesses are asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 702/04dec. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers.
