Seven men have been re-arrested as police ramp up their probe into the murder of Gurinderjit Rai in Corhampton back in July 2019.
The 41-year-old victim was discovered in a parked car on Shepherds Farm Lane on 13 July 2019. A post-mortem revealed he died from gunshot wounds.
Following an extensive investigation that saw 18 people arrested, officers made fresh arrests on Tuesday 7 July. All seven men are now in police custody suspected of conspiracy to murder.
The men arrested include a 30-year-old man from Winchester, a 42-year-old man from Owslebury, a 32-year-old man from Climping, West Sussex, a 40-year-old man from Southampton, a 26-year-old man from Winchester, a 32-year-old man from Winchester, and a 29-year-old man from Eastleigh.
All seven face suspicion of conspiracy to murder as the investigation continues to unravel the chilling events in Corhampton.
