Police are actively searching for a man linked to over 10 sexual assaults on London buses that occurred between February 2022 and September 2023. The attacks primarily took place during the afternoons and evenings across several London areas including Ealing, Hammersmith, Westminster, and Hounslow.
The suspect is reported to have targeted Muslim women on busy bus routes. He frequently boards buses at locations such as Westfield Shepherd’s Bush, Ealing Broadway, and Acton High Street. His method involves sitting next to Muslim women and making unwanted physical contact without speaking.
Detective Sergeant Matthew Brown of the Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport Command addressed the public, stating, “We recognise the community’s concerns and are working hard to find this man. If anyone recognises his clothing or other features, please get in touch.”
The images released by the police show the suspect with his face covered, but authorities hope the public can help identify him based on his clothing and behaviour. Detective Brown also encouraged victims who have not yet contacted the police to come forward for support and to assist with the investigation.
To report any information, members of the public are advised to call the police on 101 quoting reference CAD 8412/21Sep. Information can also be submitted via X (formerly Twitter) at @MetCC. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Authorities urge anyone with information not to remain silent and to help bring this predator to justice.
