Police have released images of three suspects linked to a brazen theft targeting a 76-year-old man. The victim was followed into a Harrow Road bank on Tuesday, 3 May, just after midday, where he withdrew a large sum to pay his plumber.
After leaving the bank, the pensioner headed to the bus stop outside KFC on Wembley’s High Road. As he tried to board a Route 18 bus, a gang of pickpockets blocked other passengers from boarding. Two women then snatched his cash before making a quick getaway.
Police want to identify the two female thieves and one man involved. Anyone with information should call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting reference CAD 5664/12Jul. Anonymous tips can be given to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
