Hit-and-Run Horror: Teen Cyclist Knocked Off Bike in Goring-by-Sea
Police are on the hunt after a hit-and-run driver slammed into a 17-year-old cyclist in Goring-by-Sea.
Crash Near Popular Pub Sends Teen Tumbling
The terrifying incident unfolded just after 4pm on Wednesday, March 4, near The Sussex Yeoman pub. The teenager was crossing the road with his bike when a car clipped him and then sped off without stopping.
Teen Injured but Lucky to Escape Serious Harm
The boy suffered cuts and bruises, but luckily escaped serious injuries. His bike was badly damaged in the collision. Sussex Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses.
“If you saw anything or have footage from the area around 4.10pm on 4 March, please call 101 quoting serial 1028 of 4/3,” urged police.
Anyone with dashcam footage or information is urged to come forward immediately to help catch the reckless driver.
