Between 4 a.m. and 4.30 a.m. on June 4, 2022, a 25-year-old woman was violently punched in the face in Old Market Square, Nottingham. The attack left her with painful facial bruises and her glasses were smashed during the assault.
The victim’s friends were also caught up in the incident. Fortunately, they sustained only minor injuries, but the attack caused significant distress to everyone involved.
Nottinghamshire Police have released an image of a woman they believe may have information about the incident. PC Phoebe Lau stated, “This was an upsetting incident for the victim, who was left with bruises to her face.” After reviewing CCTV footage from local shops and venues, officers are urging anyone who recognises the woman pictured to come forward.
PC Lau added, “Our investigations are ongoing. If you know who this person is, please get in touch.”
