Friend ‘Accidentally Arrested’ After Man Stabbed to Death in North West London
A shocking stabbing in North West London has left a 21-year-old dead and a friend of the victim mistakenly arrested. The 25-year-old man was held on suspicion of murder but released without charge after trying to save his bleeding mate.
Stabbing Sparks Major Police Investigation on Harrow Road
The brutal attack happened just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, October 30, between Harrow and Wembley outside Aura bar. Police say the stabbing began following a fight and left the victim with multiple wounds.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and performed CPR for a long time, but could not save the young man. Locals reported hearing a hysterical woman screaming, “they murdered him,” as paramedics worked desperately to save the victim.
Two Men Arrested – One Still in Custody
Police arrested two men – a 25-year-old and a 33-year-old – on suspicion of murder. The younger man, who was trying to help the victim, was released without further action. The 33-year-old is still held in custody as investigations continue.
At the scene this afternoon, the mother of the wrongly arrested man confirmed her son was only trying to aid his friend.
