Police are hunting a brazen thief who stormed into One Stop on Emsworth Road, Havant, and demanded cash from staff last night.
At around 9.30pm on Monday 10 June, a man with a pair of tights pulled over his head burst into the shop and forced staff to hand over money from the tills. He grabbed roughly £250 and fled on foot towards Southleigh Road, carrying the stolen cash inside an Asda ‘bag for life’.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspect loitering under the trees near the shop’s car park just before the robbery.
Police have described the suspect as a male, between 5’10” and 6’2” tall, with an average to broad build. He was wearing a grey top and black bottoms and was carrying an Asda ‘bag for life’.
