Police in Kent are investigating the murder of a woman in her 30s after she was fatally stabbed in Margate. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The attack occurred at around 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, when Kent Police were called to a private residence on Elfrida Close following reports of an assault. Emergency responders found the woman with stab wounds and she was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of murder by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. Additionally, a woman in her 20s was detained on suspicion of murder and assisting a criminal. Both remain in police custody as the investigation continues. It is believed that the victim and the suspects were known to each other.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
