Drama on Old Broad Street: Man Dies Despite Emergency Rush
Paramedics and emergency crews scrambled to Old Broad Street in the heart of the City of London at around 9.30am today after urgent reports of a man in distress.

Tragic End Despite Intensive Care
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
“We were called today (Weds) at 9.29am to reports of a person unwell in Old Broad Street, EC2. We sent ambulance crews, advanced paramedic practitioners, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance. We treated a man at the scene but sadly, despite our efforts, he was pronounced dead.”
The City of London Police are investigating the incident and have been contacted for comment as inquiries continue.
