Emergency crews were called to Hazelwick Roundabout in Crawley at 7am on Sunday, February 1, after a lorry overturned in a single-vehicle accident.
Sussex Police confirmed the lorry flipped but reassured that no one was injured in the incident.
The crash resulted in significant tailbacks along the A2011 Crawley Avenue during the morning rush hour.
Sussex Traffic Watch has since confirmed that the road is clear and fully reopened to traffic.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information about the crash can report it online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 299 of 01/02.
