A masked armed robber held up the McColl’s store in Totton, prompting a police search for the suspect. The incident occurred just after 9.30pm on Thursday 26 October at the McColl’s on Water Lane, Totton.
The man, wearing a distinctive Halloween mask, entered the store wielding a knife. He threatened the cashier and stole cash, scratchcards, and tobacco before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as approximately 5ft 7ins tall with blue eyes. He was wearing a light stone grey hoodie, blue jeans, and a green mask resembling either a zombie or Frankenstein’s monster.
The cashier was unharmed during the robbery. Police are urging anyone who saw the masked man entering or leaving the store to come forward with information.
Officers said, “If you have any information relating to this case, please call 101 quoting reference ‘44170417041’, or report anonymously.”
