Four arrests have been made as officers continue to investigate the death of a man in Whitstable. Kent Police attended an address in Sittingbourne during the evening of Wednesday 8 April 2026, where two women aged 22 and 24, and a 26-year-old man were all arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A 21-year-old man from Sittingbourne was also arrested on suspicion of the same offence on Sunday, 5 April 2026. All four individuals have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detectives made the arrests after Kent Police received a call at 2.04am on Friday 3 April 2026 reporting a serious assault in Belmont Road, Whitstable. Patrols and paramedics attended the scene, where a 19-year-old man was found with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was confirmed deceased at the scene.
It is believed that the victim was known to the offenders involved in the incident.
Detectives are seeking to locate Tobias Agbaje and Kieron Barnes, as they may have information that could assist the ongoing investigation. They are believed to have links to Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury, Sittingbourne, Ramsgate, and London.
