Two people have tragically died following a devastating house fire in Primrose Hill, Dover. The fire broke out at around 10:30pm on Thursday night.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman later died in a London hospital. Emergency services are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded swiftly, sending four fire engines and a height vehicle to the property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames.

South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Police were also present at the scene. The investigation into what caused the deadly blaze is ongoing.
