A bedroom fire erupted at a house in Wild Ash Croft, Sittingbourne, on Thursday evening, prompting a rapid emergency response.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) received calls at 7:50 PM and quickly deployed four fire engines to the scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high-pressure hose reel jets to tackle the blaze, bringing it under control swiftly.
One person was treated at the scene before being handed over to SECAmb paramedics. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
