Driver Caught Hauling Car in Shocking Unsafe Style

Police Scotland have slammed a driver who thought it was fine to transport a car unsecured and in a risky position. The motorist was caught near Whitburn carrying a dangerous load – a car not tied down properly.

Fixed Penalty Issued for Dangerous Load

The driver was slapped with a fixed penalty ticket. Police halted the journey immediately, refusing to let the motorist drive on until the car was safely removed.

“The driver felt it was ok to transport a car in this position and without being tied down,” Police Scotland said.

Thomas had applied for bail, but the court refused the application and ordered that he remain in custody. He is now due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Tuesday, September 29. The criminal damage allegation relates to an incident in the Channel on Tuesday, September 22. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the charge followed an allegation that a boat was damaged while an emergency responder was on board.
