Four men have been jailed after conspiring to seriously injure a man at his Leeds home in an attack which ended with one of their own group being fatally stabbed. Dylan Earp, 20, Jack Rider, 19, Tray Plummer, 24, and Jack Stretton, 28, have all received prison sentences for their involvement in the planned attack on Alfie Milburn. West Yorkshire Police said the group travelled to Milburn’s home in October 2025 intending to attack and seriously injure him. During the confrontation, Harry Abbott, who was part of the group, was fatally stabbed. Milburn was subsequently prosecuted over Abbott’s death and convicted of manslaughter. He was handed a 14-year extended custodial sentence.
Four men handed prison sentences
The four men involved in the conspiracy have now been sentenced for their roles in the incident. Dylan Earp, 20, was jailed for six years and nine months. He was also disqualified from driving for three years and 10 months. Jack Rider, 19, received a prison sentence of five years and four months. Tray Plummer, 24, was jailed for five years and eight months. Jack Stretton, 28, received the longest sentence of the four and was jailed for seven years and six months. The case followed an investigation by West Yorkshire Police into the circumstances surrounding the planned attack and Abbott’s death.
Attack ended in fatal stabbing
Police said the four men had conspired to cause serious injury to Milburn when they travelled to his home. The confrontation instead resulted in Abbott suffering fatal stab wounds. Milburn was later convicted of manslaughter rather than murder and received an extended sentence totalling 14 years. The latest sentences bring proceedings against the four men involved in the conspiracy to a conclusion.
