Trading standards officers have smashed a huge £3.1 million haul of fake designer gear in Bury. A multi-agency swoop uncovered more than 5,000 knockoff items packed into four linked storage units. The stash included fakes from top luxury brands.

Luxury Fakes Seized in Massive Raid

During the raids, officials found 5,459 counterfeit goods, from shoes and clothes to bags, watches, and accessories. One storage unit even had shelves and packaging stations set up to process and ship the dodgy merchandise.

Council Praises Teamwork Behind the Bust

“The current estimated street value of the seized items from this one case is approximately £3.1 million, a figure expected to rise as additional brand assessments are received,” said a council spokesman. “There were so many goods that it took a whole day to remove them from the premises and put into secure storage. “This operation demonstrates strong cross‑agency collaboration and reflects the continued commitment of trading standards to tackling large‑scale counterfeit supply chains connected to wider criminality.”

Details remain under wraps as the criminal probe continues. But this headline-grabbing haul sends a loud warning to counterfeiters running illegal designer rings in the UK.
