Deadly Head-On Crash on Thanet Way Claims Man’s Life
Tragedy struck near Whitstable on Thursday night when a fatal collision on the A2990 Thanet Way ended in disaster.
Silver Van and Blue Skoda Collide at 8.35pm
At 8.35pm on 16 October 2025, a silver Renault panel van travelling towards Whitstable smashed head-on into a blue Skoda Octavia coming the other way. The Skoda driver, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The van driver suffered injuries but is expected to survive. Next of kin have been informed.
Kent Police Hunt Witnesses to Fatal Smash
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for anyone who saw the crash or either vehicle before the collision to step forward.
