Nightclub Brawl Turns Deadly in Milton Keynes

Just after 1.30am on Monday 27 December, chaos erupted at the Atesh venue in Milton Keynes. Two men in their twenties were rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a violent assault.

Man Dies, Second Victim Stable

Tragically, on 28 December, a 28-year-old man from Milton Keynes succumbed to his injuries. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers. The other man remains in stable condition in hospital.

Police Launch Murder Investigation

Detective Inspector Dejan Avramovic of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit confirmed a murder enquiry has been opened. He said:

“My thoughts remain with the family at this difficult time and they continue to be supported by our officers. We are in the early stages of our enquiries. No arrests have been made yet, but we are following several significant leads.”

Public Urged to Come Forward

The brawl reportedly started inside the venue and spilled outside to the smoking area, meaning eyewitnesses are likely. Police have a scene watch in place, which will stay for some time. Increased police presence is expected to reassure the public.

Detective Inspector Avramovic appealed:

“Anyone with information should call Thames Valley Police on 101 or report online quoting reference 43210581126. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.”
