Man Dies After Brutal Street Brawl on High Street
A 62-year-old man has tragically died following a violent fight on High Street last Friday afternoon. Police were called at 12:27pm and found the victim seriously injured. Paramedics rushed to the scene, but despite desperate efforts, he was pronounced dead.
43-Year-Old Arrested for Murder
Officers have arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as police launch a full investigation. Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall said:
“My team are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to this man’s tragic death. We have arrested a man and no other suspects are being sought at this time. However, we are urging anyone who may have been in the area of 1 High Street to check any doorbell or CCTV footage and share anything that may be useful with police.”
