Chaos Near Brentford Station as Car Ends Up on Police Vehicle in Smash

A busy road close to Brentford rail station was shut down this afternoon after a wild collision involving a police car. Eyewitnesses say one car ended up smashed on top of the police vehicle near Boston Manor Road by Brentford Library, leaving debris scattered across the road and causing serious local gridlock.

Major Disruption Hits Brentford Traffic

  • Road closures and a police cordon are in place around the crash site.
  • Traffic chaos reported around Windmill Road and Brentford High Street.
  • Bus routes are diverting away from the station, causing frustration for commuters.

Locals described “walking wounded,” including a child who was checked over at the scene. So far, no serious injuries confirmed.

Emergency Services Race to Scene

The Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and Fire Brigade all responded swiftly to the incident. The London Ambulance Service said:

“We were called at 12.07pm to a collision at the junction of Boston Manor Road and Windmill Road. We sent ambulance crews, paramedics in a fast response car, and the hazardous area response team (HART). Our first paramedic arrived in four minutes.

“Four adults and one child were treated. Three patients were taken to hospital, one discharged at the scene.”

A Met Police spokesman added:

“Police were called at 12.05pm to a collision between a vehicle and a police car on Boston Manor Road. Drivers and passengers involved have no life-threatening or life-changing injuries. No arrests have been made.”
