80-Year-Old Man Fighting for Life After Car Park Collision in Wallington
An 80-year-old man is in a critical, life-threatening condition after being hit by a vehicle in a car park in Shotfield, Wallington.
Emergency Called After Morning Crash
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 10am on Thursday, 4 September, following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.
The elderly man was treated on site before being rushed to hospital, where he remains critically injured.
Police Probe Incident as Driver Cooperates
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10.00hrs on Thursday, 4 September to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle in a car park in Shotfield, Wallington.
An 80-year-old man was taken to hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”
The driver of the vehicle stopped and is currently assisting police with their investigation.
