Police Warning and Ongoing Campaign
PC Kevin Marsh said: “This operation highlights the benefits of partnership working and proactive engagement. By removing dangerous drivers and illegal vehicles from the roads, we are making Folkestone a safer place both on and off the roads.
We would also like to remind the public that if you are found riding an unsafe or illegal vehicle, such as an e-bike or e-scooter, you must prepare for it to be seized or face potential prosecution.”
Kent Police confirmed this enforcement is part of a wider road safety campaign across the district, with more operations planned in the coming months.
