Three Injured in East London Shooting – London Air Ambulance Scrambles to Scene
Major Incident on Upton Lane
Emergency services rushed to Upton Lane, Forest Gate, East London, this afternoon following reports of a shooting. The London Ambulance Service confirmed they received the call at 2:51pm on 29 April.
Rapid Response from Ambulance Crews and Air Support
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 2.51pm today (29 April) to reports of a shooting on Upton Lane, E7. We sent ambulance crews, a paramedic from our tactical response unit, and dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated three patients at the scene. One person was taken as a priority to a major trauma centre by road, and two other patients were transported to hospital.”
Police Swarm the Scene
Witnesses report a heavy police presence with multiple emergency vehicles flooding the area. Upton Lane has been cordoned off as officers investigate the shooting’s circumstances. Authorities urge the public to avoid the area.
