Train services at Beckenham Junction experienced significant disruption on Tuesday evening after an object was found obstructing the track, leading to delays and cancellations across the line.

According to National Rail, both lines at the busy South London station were temporarily blocked, halting train services while response staff attended the scene. The obstruction was safely removed, and all lines have now reopened, though delays of up to 30 minutes and some cancellations are expected as the service recovers.

Disruption Expected Until 10pm

National Rail has confirmed that disruption is expected to continue until at least 10pm, urging passengers to check live travel updates before heading to the station.
