Wiltshire Police are hunting for witnesses after a string of burglaries hit the Stratton St Margaret area of Swindon. Seven break-ins rattled the neighbourhood in the early hours of March 27.
Break-ins Break Dawn: What Was Stolen?
The raids took place between 4:49 am and 6:10 am along Gayton Way and Weedon Road. Thieves made off with:
- Angle grinder
- Bungee cords
- Gardening tools and equipment
Suspects Spotted on Bikes
Police believe two white men on bicycles were seen nearby at the time. Both wore black clothing and backpacks. One suspect also covered his face. Wiltshire Police have released CCTV images of one suspect, hoping someone will recognise him – though they warn the footage isn’t crystal clear.
