Massive Blaze Hits Tunbridge Wells Flat Block
A fierce fire has broken out in a block of flats on Linden Park Road, Tunbridge Wells. Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2:13pm to battle the raging flames.
Six Fire Engines and Specialist Equipment Deployed
Fire crews deployed six fire engines and a height vehicle, using powerful hose reel and main jets to fight the blaze. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus to tackle the intense smoke and flames head-on.
Emergency Services Rush to Aid Smoke-Inhalation Victims
Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) arrived to support the firefighting effort. Two people suffered smoke inhalation and were given immediate medical treatment by paramedics.
