Boy, 9, Dragged Off Scooter and Attacked in Dagenham
Police are hunting a thug who grabbed a 9-year-old boy from his scooter and assaulted him near the Roundhouse and local shops in Dagenham.
Attack Happens on Busy Friday Morning
The incident occurred between 7.55am and 8.10am on Friday morning. The man, described as a 5ft 11in white male in his 20s, wearing a black Nike tracksuit and hat, snatched the boy from behind, grabbing him around the waist and throwing him to the ground.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers have recorded the incident as an assault on a minor. They’re urgently appealing to anyone who saw the attack or who may have caught it on dashcam to come forward.
