Tragedy in Woking: Woman Killed as Car Crashes onto Pavement
Surrey Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly smash involving two cars and a pedestrian in Woking on Friday night.
Fatal Crash on 1 Road
The horrific collision happened around 8.45pm on 9 December at the junction of 1 Road and Arnold Road.
A blue Peugeot and a BMW collided at the junction. The impact forced the Peugeot onto the pavement, striking a woman in her 50s who was walking by.
Pedestrian Dies at Scene
Paramedics battled to save her, but she was sadly pronounced dead at the spot. Her family have been informed.
The road remained closed for hours while police investigated.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Both drivers are cooperating with police inquiries.
