Chelmsford Mum Threatened with Legal Action Over School Bullying Photos
A Chelmsford mum, who wishes to remain anonymous, has slammed her daughter’s school after being told to remove photos showing bruises from bullying — or face legal action.
Bullying Ignored Despite Meetings
“I’ve had two meetings with my six-year-old daughter’s school about the bullying she’s facing — and nothing has been done,” the frustrated mum said. She even asked for the boys involved to be temporarily suspended so her daughter could return to school safely. The school refused.
Her daughter is terrified of a teacher she feels is turning a blind eye due to personal dislike, leaving the little girl feeling trapped and vulnerable.
Shocking Bullying Incidents
The youngster has endured relentless attacks: kicked, punched, pushed over causing a head injury, tripped up, fingers bent back, Chinese burns, deep scratches, and even spit in the face.
“These aren’t playground scrapes — the photos show injuries that lasted over 40 minutes after school,” the mum said. “This is pure bullying, not innocent fun.”
School and Parents Under Fire
When the mum took to social media to expose the issue, the headteacher reportedly had no clue about previous complaints. Meanwhile, the bullies’ parents have been calling her daughter a “brat” at school pick-ups, fueling the toxic environment.
“I hope the school and these parents are ashamed for letting this happen,” she declared. “My daughter will have to be home-schooled until we find a safe place for her.”
Legal Threats Won’t Silence the Truth
Despite threats of legal action to take down the photos, the determined mother isn’t backing down. She has reported the school to Ofsted, the county council, and plans to call the governors with more complaints.
“Bullying is NEVER okay. Schools must have ZERO tolerance,” she insisted. “Victims shouldn’t be forced out because schools fail to act.”
She also thanked supporters for their messages of encouragement. “We appreciate every single one.”
