Police on Hunt for Flasher Who Targeted Young Girls in Gosport

Police have launched a full investigation after a man exposed himself to two 12-year-old girls on a cycle track in Gosport.

Disturbing Incident Near Local School

The shocking event happened Monday afternoon at around 4.30pm on the Station Road cycle path, close to Brune Park School. The girls were walking when the flasher, hiding in the bushes, revealed himself and attempted to pull them in to watch.

A passing woman comforted the distressed girls. The man is described as aged 20-25, of foreign ethnicity, wearing a sports sweatband on his head.

Police Increase Patrols After Incident

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “The incident happened near to the school and we know parents will be concerned. We are speaking to the school to offer suitable advice and will have extra officers in the area this afternoon and into the early evening.”
