The body was found at a location near Furnace Lane, Horsmonden at around 11.30am today (Friday 7 January).

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however, the family of a 60-year-old man who was reported missing on 5 January have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
