Four Charged Over Chatham Drug Supply in Cross-County Crackdown – UKNIP

Four individuals have been charged following a proactive Kent Police investigation into the supply of Class A drugs across Medway and Essex, resulting in a significant seizure and arrests in Blackpool.

Phone Numbers Lead to Cross-County Raids

In March 2025, officers identified mobile numbers suspected of being linked to known heroin and crack cocaine users in Chatham. Following the launch of a dedicated drugs line probe, the numbers were traced to an address in Alexandra Road, Blackpool.

With assistance from Lancashire Constabulary and British Transport Police, detectives raided the property on Wednesday 14 May. They arrested three men and a 16-year-old boy, recovering:

Charges Brought and Court Appearances

Following further enquiries, four individuals were charged on Thursday 15 May:

  • Kevin Yoro, 24, formerly of Reaston Street, Peckham
  • Daniel Kargbo, 21, of Stoughton Close, Putney

Both were charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine in Chatham between 9 March and 14 May 2025.

Additionally:

  • Alfie Carter, 23, of Rowan Road, Bexleyheath
  • A 16-year-old boy from Wood Green, London

were charged with Class A drug supply in Southend, Essex over the same period.

All four suspects were remanded in custody and are set to appear before Lancaster Magistrates’ Court on Friday 16 May.

Police Statement and Ongoing Investigation

A spokesperson for Kent Police commended the collaborative effort:

“This operation highlights the importance of cross-force intelligence sharing. Thanks to effective coordination with Lancashire Constabulary and British Transport Police, we have disrupted a significant supply line of Class A drugs.”

Investigations remain ongoing as detectives seek to dismantle wider networks involved in trafficking illegal substances into Kent and Essex.
