Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Hornchurch: Police Seek Witnesses

Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a tragic fatal collision in Hornchurch.

Police were called at 21:45hrs on Friday, 13 September, after a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Upper Rainham Road, near the junction with Gordon Avenue.

Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, attended the scene. Despite their efforts, the motorcycle rider, a man in his 20s, tragically died from his injuries at the scene.

The man’s family is being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the car remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A scene was established to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, and police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or witnesses who have not yet come forward to assist with the investigation.
