Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision in Marylebone

Police were called shortly before 5.10pm on Thursday, 4 January to reports of a bus in collision with a pedestrian near the Tesco store in Morning Lane, Hackney.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and an 85-year-old woman was taken to an east London hospital. Sadly, she died there on Monday, 8 January.

Her next of kin have been informed.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit ask anyone who may have captured the collision on a dash cam or other media devices or witnessed it, to contact the witness appeal line on 020 8597 4874.
