Two individuals have been hospitalised following a stabbing incident in Surbiton, with a man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The incident occurred this afternoon (Sunday, July 9) in Long Ditton, according to Surrey Police.
The first victim was attacked at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Portsmouth Road, while the second victim was stabbed at the adjacent BMW garage. Emergency services, including Surrey Police, the London Fire Brigade, and medics from the London Ambulance Service, swiftly responded to the scene at approximately 1:45 pm.
Both victims were immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Surrey Police issued a statement reassuring the public that they believe this was an isolated incident.
An ongoing investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the arrested individual is currently in custody.
