He emphasized the importance of SMEs, noting that 88% of the awardees were small to medium-sized enterprises.

Historic Legacy Continues

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards, are now in their 59th year and remain the most prestigious business accolades in the UK. Over 8,000 companies have been honoured since the awards were founded in 1965.

His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenants will personally present the awards to businesses across the country throughout the year, with winners also invited to a special Royal reception.

By developing world-leading products, supporting employment, and leading in sustainability, these award-winning businesses are critical to the UK’s future prosperity.
