Police are appealing for information after a man was injured during a group assault in Woolwich on Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to Parry Place at 3.57pm on 20 June following reports of a fight involving several individuals. On arrival, they found a 50-year-old man who had been assaulted by a small group of men.
Emergency services treated the victim for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, according to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police.
No Arrests Yet as Enquiries Continue
At this stage, no arrests have been made, and detectives are continuing their enquiries into the circumstances of the attack.
Witness Appeal
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.
“Officers attended the scene at Parry Place where a 50-year-old man had been assaulted by a small group of men,” a Met Police spokesperson confirmed.
“Enquiries continue, and we urge any witnesses to contact police.”
