He stated, “Nobody can begin to understand the impact of Dylan’s sudden death has had on his family and friends. His death demonstrates the devastation and long-lasting impact that acts of violence have, not just on the victim, but families, friends, and those who witnessed the events of that night, including those who work in emergency services.”
Brunskill continued, “We are committed to making sure people are spared the pain that Dylan’s family have endured. And although Dylan was stabbed inside Cheng’s home, we will continue our work with our partners to ensure we deter offenders and educate people about the dangers of using knives as weapons.”
