A man has died following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Green Lane, Morden, on Monday, March 3.
Emergency Services Respond
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers and London Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the scene at 6:51 PM. Despite their efforts, the pedestrian—a 49-year-old man—was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Underway
A spokesperson for the Met Police said:
*”Police were called to a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian in Green Lane, Morden, at 6.51pm on Monday, 3 March.
Despite the London Ambulance Service and officers providing treatment to a 49-year-old man, the pedestrian, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing. The road is now reopened.”*
Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
