The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed the tragic death of a woman following a four-vehicle road traffic collision in Markethill on Saturday morning, November 4.
The deceased, identified as 44-year-old Ciara McElvanna from the Armagh area, was initially taken to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday, November 8.
The collision occurred on the Gosford Road at approximately 01:20. As of now, two men and one woman remain hospitalised, receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
Patrick Grimley, a 40-year-old from the County Armagh area, also lost his life as a result of the injuries sustained in the collision.
A thorough investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses dash-cam or mobile phone footage to come forward.
