A woman in her 40s tragically died following an explosion at a Chippenham address this afternoon, police have confirmed.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
At around 3.20 pm on March 5, Wiltshire Police, fire crews, and ambulance teams scrambled to a property on Orchard Crescent after reports of an explosion.
Tragic Loss Confirmed
Sadly, despite efforts on-site, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s next of kin have been informed. Police extended their condolences to the grieving family.
No Suspicious Circumstances
Wiltshire Police say there are no indications of foul play surrounding the death. Investigations are ongoing but the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
